House Party 0.14.0 Released to Alpha Testers

Our first Alpha for LetyDoesStuff and her new story is here!
BEFORE you hop into Lety’s new content: be aware that we’re adding some heavy-hitting features this update, including some interactive items that aren’t quite camera-ready. To get them looking as best they can, we’ve added placeholder assets to serve as these items in the current story. When these items are ready, oh man, they’re gonna look slick. 
The story itself is halfway complete for this Alpha. You’ll notice there is a moment where things can’t continue for Lety’s new story, but there’s still a lot here. Our writer and producer have been working to bolster AI behavior (more reactions, etc) and Lety herself is a great example of the work they’ve done so far, with much more to come. 
So please enjoy, and know that your support keeps us going! Now it’s Miller time.

In the Original Story: fixed an issue that could cause the Player to Loot the condom from Frank’s unconscious body even if they hadn’t discovered that step in the Scavenger Hunt. The player must now be on the “condom step” of the Scavenger Hunt while looting Frank’s body to obtain it. Why else would you just take a pocket-condom, you fucking savage?
In the Original Story: fixes an issue that would cause conversation options about the condom to still appear when talking to Frank, even if the Player had the condom/passed that point in Amy’s Scavenger Hunt
In the Original Story: groping Rachael while in “VR Mode” as part of the new content will no longer result in any negative consequences

Life of the Party: Tiffany Witcher (Leah) Interview

House Party wouldn’t be what it is today without the voice actors. These
talented men and women go to bat for us with each update, especially
when we make them say some of the most ridiculous shit ever to be
spoken in a video game. 
In honor of their dedication, we’d like to showcase some of House Party’s
voice talent in a series of interviews that’ll help you connect with the
people behind our characters. 
Our first interview is with Leah’s voice actor, Tiffany Witcher. As the
newest member of House Party’s cast, Tiffany’s already kicking ass and
taking names as she helps bring this budding character to life. Let’s
hear more from the voice behind Leah! 

First off, tell us all about Tiffany Witcher.
Well hello, my name is Tiffany Witcher and I’m a voice actor. I’ve been voice acting for about five years working in entertainment for ten. I’m an advocate for raising awareness for Lupus and I also stream and cosplay. I live in Canada in the Ontario area but I’m originally from Washington DC.
How did you get into voice acting?
I’ve always loved to act and I did stage acting for a very long time. At one point I wanted to do Broadway but unfortunately due to my medical condition that wasn’t in the cards. It wasn’t until I was suggested to do voice acting from a friend I was like, “Yeah maybe I can give it a try!” I did small projects for fun but soon realized I really enjoyed the work and wanted to do this as my career.
What made you want to join the House Party roster?
Well, it’s a funny story, my husband played the game for a long time and I also played with him after watching the Game Grumps’ Let’s Plays. I said, “Man, this would be fun to voice for.” It wasn’t until months later a friend informed me there was a casting call for it. I quickly looked at it, prepared myself for the audition, and ta-da! It’s great getting in a game you wanted to voice for. I almost thought I didn’t have the role because I was told on April 1st.
Looking back, we mayybbbee shoulda changed the day of our selection to a day, you know, not known for bullshitting. But it all worked out! Anyway…
What kind of stories would you like to see from your character Leah in the future?
Honestly considering this game breaks the 4th wall a lot. It would be amazing if there was like a martial arts like experience in black and white. The lips don’t properly sync and all that. I think that would be hilarious and at the end of it all you get to, you know, have Leah.
Oh man, now we can’t get this scene out of our head. (NSFW, cause of Tarantino.)
Are there any other cool projects that have/will feature your voice acting?
I’ve voiced in a variety of indie titles, animations and more. I would first like to thank the team behind Luna and the Moonling for first getting me into video game voice acting. Since then, I’ve voiced in Lucius 3 which was pretty interesting and even a game called What?! My Neighbors are Demons which is a fun lewd visual novel. I voice in a few animations like one I really love called “00:High” that’s on youtube by Akioboy.  With more stuff in the future!

What advice would you give to aspiring VAs just starting out?
Patience! That is the best advice I can give. This takes time to get into and to grow. It’s hard work as well and you need to be prepared to do so. Understand you won’t get every role and that rejection is part of being a voice actor.

Hey Party People,
We know there’s been a lot of questions about when Dan and Arin will be headed for House Party.
Prepare your bodies, because we have the greenlight to begin production on the Game Grumps storyline. It’s happening, friends!
Everybody at Eek appreciates your patience while we got all our cocks in a row. Ducks…while we got all our ducks in a row.
As some of you might know, we’ve already entered production on LetyDoesStuff’s update, who was the female winner of the same contest the Game Grumps won. We won’t truly be starting on any Game Grumps content until Lety’s story is the BEST it can be. Working with Lety to create a killer storyline has been a lot of fun, and we look forward to doing the same with Dan and Arin just as soon as this current update is ready for release.
Seriously, we can’t wait for Dan and Arin to knock on Madison’s door and begin another fantastic chapter of House Party, and we know you can’t either.

Novo trailer revela data de lançamento de Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

A 505 Games e ArtPlay divulgaram um novo trailer de Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night e finalmente anunciaram a data de lançamento do jogo. O sucessor espiritual da série Castlevania chegará em 18 de junho ao PC, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One, e no dia 25 de junho ao Nintendo Switch.
Bloodstained está sendo dirigido por Koji Igarashi, o veterano responsável por boa parte dos Castlevania na Konami. O jogo foi financiado pelo Kickstarter, onde levantou US$ 5,5 milhões.

Epic Games compra a Psyonix, criadora de Rocket League

Nadando em dinheiro desde o sucesso de Fortnite, a Epic Games anunciou a compra da Psyonix, desenvolvedora do aclamado jogo de futebol veicular Rocket League.
Com a aquisição, Rocket League passará a ser distribuído pela Epic Games Store, mas ainda não foi decidido se o jogo se tornará exclusivo da loja. Pelo menos “por enquanto”, a Epic deixará o jogo na Steam, onde sempre fez sucesso.
“A versão para PC do Rocket League chegará à loja Epic Games no final de 2019. Enquanto isso, continuará disponível para compra no Steam; a partir daí, continuará a ser suportado no Steam para todos os compradores existentes”, informou a nova dona da Psyonix.
Para os atuais jogadores, o investimento no estúdio deve assegurar a continuidade do suporte ao jogo.
“Rocket League sempre foi e sempre será um jogo voltado para a comunidade, e agora que unimos forças com a Epic, poderemos servir nossa comunidade de maneiras ainda maiores e melhores”, comentou a Psyonix. “No curto prazo, nada vai mudar nada! Ainda estamos comprometidos em fornecer a Rocket League atualizações frequentes com novos recursos, novos conteúdos e novas formas de jogar pelo tempo que você nos tiver”.
